"MY WORLD" is a charity event of the author's poetry of Olena Ostrinina

On June 10, 2021, SOHO Restaurant & Bar hosted a charity evening of the author’s poetry of Olena Ostrinina at the successful wards of the “Kiddo” Lera Kosmakova.

Olena Ostrinina – a successful financier, the head of the VIP-banking department at Radabank, recently published her first author’s collection of poetry “My World”. As a long-time friend, ambassador and helper of Kiddo, Olena took the initiative to organize a charity presentation of her book for the benefit of one of the wards of the “Kiddo” foundation.

Olena decided to do a good deed and change the world of 13-year-old Lyra Kosmakova, who needs urgent spine surgery to gain freedom of movement and forget about pain, a wheelchair and supporting corsets.

The evening of Olena Ostrinina’s author’s poetry seemed very warm and atmospheric. More than 60 guests supported Elena’s debut with their presence: her friends, colleagues, partners, as well as ambassadors and regular benefactors of the Kiddo Foundation.

Representatives of the Radabank team also supported the good cause. Tetyana Horodnytska, the founder of Radabank, expressed her gratitude to Olena for the development of the direction of corporate social responsibility.

The changeable weather did not hinder the event – the friendly atmosphere and exquisite dishes from the SOHO restaurant gave the event a special charm. The Vodoley company acted as a partner for tasty and healthy drinking water.

The condition of participation in the atmospheric evening of poetry, music and charity was the purchase of a collection of Olena’s poetry, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of which went to an urgent collection for Lyera.

The minimum contribution was set at 500 hryvnias. During the event, guests purchased books worth almost UAH 40,000.

But, as the 8-year experience of the Kiddo team shows, there is no limit to Good deeds! Inspired by the story of Lera’s struggle for the right to live a full life, one philanthropist with a kind heart decided to close the remaining amount before the collection. And, thus, the most expensive book was purchased for … UAH 87,000 by Svitlana Selina, the founder of the Fit Haus network!

The story of the urgent collection for surgery for Lera is the story of the unification of caring people with good hearts! After all, each address collection is a new challenge. The Kiddo team thanks everyone who responded to the request for help: co-organizers and partners of the event, guests of the poetry evening, everyone who could not attend in person, but wanted to buy the book “My World” by Elena Ostrinina, as well as hundreds of people who constantly support Kiddo fees.

The co-founder of “Kiddo” Olga Shtamburg addressed the benefactors with gratitude:
