Can I find out exactly where my charity payment will go?

Every benefactor has the right to apply to the fund for an official statement on the transfer of funds, as well as on what the transferred amount was spent on. If the money is transferred to the fund’s account with the specified purpose, the fund undertakes to use these funds for the charitable project specified in the purpose. In case of closure of the target project or in case of receipt of unassigned funds, the fund reserves the right to allocate funds to current urgent projects.

Is it true that the fund has the right to spend on administrative activities up to 20% of the funds received in the account?

The activities of charitable organizations are strictly regulated by the Constitution of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine “On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organizations”, according to which administrative expenses can amount to no more than 20% of the funds received by the organization. The “Kiddo” fund is one of the few in Ukraine, the majority of the administrative costs of which are covered by the co-founders of the fund with their monthly charitable contributions.

According to the results of 2020, expenses for the administrative activities of the BF “Kiddo” amounted to 6.7%.

How does the fund distribute funds? And suddenly there is not enough money for one of the children?

For each ward with a complex diagnosis, the “Kiddo” fund opens separate targeted fees. This makes it possible to publicly observe the dynamics of the collection and track the necessary terms for purchasing drugs/conducting operations, etc. In the case of the need for urgent operations/procedures/purchases, we turn to permanent partners, as well as to mass media for wide coverage of information about urgent fees.

When the money is transferred – how does this help get to the child?
